Geocaching

Geocaching is a 'Hide and Seek' or Treasure game using the multi-million dollar U.S. Government satelite navigation system of the (GPS) Global Positioning System for Play and Fun. People like you will hide a 'treasure' in a weather proof container, from small to large. Containers may ranger from film canisters or pill bottles to tupperware or even five gallon buckets. Geocachers will hide a 'cache' then post the logitude and latitude coordinance of the cache at one of the websites that allows posting of geocashe locations.  Using the latidutinal and logitudinal coordinances, you will hunt for the cache using a GPS device or a GPS app. on your cell phone. You will record your find on the log included with the cache and maybe exchange the treasure for a new one, then replace the cache. Geocache sites may be in parks, buildings, or on the street, hidden so those passing by will not stumble upon the cache yet make it challenging for the geocacher (you) to find. Geocaching is Fun

Geocaching is fun and can be performed while doing other activities. Geocache while window shopping down Main Street. Geocache while walking the City Parks. Geocache while hunting or fishing. Geocache while hiking in the woods. Take your boy or girl scouts geocaching. Geocache while waiting your turn at the Tennis Courts. Liven up your dog walks with geocaching.
